This story began long before 2024, from two small initiatives in Ambarawa that grew into one movement.
Ambarawa has a lot of potential, but low rates of higher education and economic instability make it hard for young people here to move forward. We believe simply sending children to school isn't enough. They need a path toward self-reliance.

Started informally by Ezer.
Started informally by Riska.
Both initiatives officially merged into Pitulung, with a vision to drive social mobility through education.
Star Scholarship launches; Curriculum Development expands to NTT (Taman Bacaan Pelangi), Kendari (Kawan Inspirasi Kendari), and Jakarta (Eduquip Education).
Building our first full-time team; plans to expand the "Teach for Tact" program in Flores with Global Youth Mobilization (European Union).
Like a planted seed beginning to break through the soil, 2025 was a year of nurturing growth that was undeniable yet still fragile. Two key things happened: deepening our roots through local partnerships, and encouraging growth through expanded scholarships.

“Over the past 2 years, the Pitulung team has consistently shown perseverance and credibility in delivering help to the younger generation, our nation's future. I hope Pitulung keeps growing and touches even more Indonesian children.”
“Through the various ways of raising funds to attend SYC, I understood what it feels like to strive and to experience God's incredible love... I truly felt God's Presence, always welcoming us back to Him.”
